Autor: Linda Kappel

Three external advisors have been appointed to provide specialised services to help with PTDL group‘s performance. The Post-Trade Distributed Ledger Group is formed of numerous post-trade financial institutions and market infrastructure players. Their main goal is to reach conclusions on how distributed ledger technologies can change the post-trade landscape, which has an exciting but unsteady future.

The group has recently announced its incorporation of new members bringing the current amount to 37, which include global banks, custodians, CSDs, clearing houses, exchanges, regulators, government agencies, and central banks. Further growth is expected in the following months.

Assistance will be given by the newly appointed advisors in various fields. Ernst & Young will provide consultancy around Blockchain and distributed ledger technology whilst Norton Rose Fulbright will be in charge of legal and regulatory aspects, and the public relations activity will be under Citigate Dewe Rogerson‘s control.

Further announcements involve the composition of the Group‘s organising committee which will be made up of representatives from 6 institutions.
