Located in the very centre of Tychy, Poland, Skalka shopping centre will soon be a focal point for the city‘s residents. Offering a wide range of fashion brands, services and restaurants, Skalka will also become a popular meeting point in the city, where guests can enjoy the communal areas along with numerous social events.

Apollo-Rida plans to complete the shopping centre for the first half of 2017. Up until now the centre includes hypermarket Auchan, and OBI DIY store, along with many other well-known polish brands. Its most recent tenant is Martes Sport, a retail chain offering sports clothing and accessories, which has leased 700 square metres in the Skalka shopping centre. Grażyna Melibruda, Associate Director, Retail Agency, JLL, explained the centre‘s popularity between the tenants "Skałka shopping centre attracts new tenants due to its advantages such as location, vast catchment area and interesting concept of communal space." International advisory firm JLL acts as the sole commercialization agent for Skałka shopping centre.

Following the recent trend, Skalka intends to provide visitors with an entertaining shopping experience. An amphitheatre will be set up where entertainment, cultural and integration events will be held. Plans for a summer cinema program and sports events are also being developed.

A combination of factors such as a limited shopping offer in the area along with the high purchasing power of its residents are key to Skalka shopping centre‘s success.
