A fresh approach has been taken towards the food and beverage selection offered at MEGA Teply Stan, Moscow. IKEA Centres Russia has introduced their new concept „Taste Boulevard“, which forms part of a 30 million Euro food and beverage upgrade program. A similar project is being developed in MEGA Khimki under the same program.

The main aim is to create a „vibrant leisure hub“ for all tastes and budgets where customers can enjoy a wide range of products. To achieve this, the food-serving area has been doubled reaching a total of 5,300 square metres. In order to meet all customers' preferences its unique design offers different zones for families, youngsters and urban. Separate areas for fast food and longer 'destination' dining concepts are also provided.

Eating out has become increasingly popular among Russians in the past years with more people willing to spend money on having an entertaining dinner experience. Healthy food has also turned into a major trend along with a growing interest in international cuisine. According to IKEA Centres Russia, 30 Prozent of consumers visit their shopping centres for dining.
